Most of the reef's diversity, around 90% of it, is known to be in the top 4 metres of the water. So you don't really need to dive too deep to see all the wonders of the reef. Michaelmas Cay, with its calm, shallow waters, is famous for being a family friendly snorkeling site and is ideal for first-timers.

Get into the snorkeling gear and once you learn the basics of snorkeling from our qualified crew, you are ready to walk off the sandy shore into the water to enjoy the amazing views of the wide range of aquatic and coral life on the reef. The water is shallow and safe enough for you to stop for short rest breaks.
